The symposium on technology promotion and application of prefabricated steel structure residential projects was successfully held in Hangzhou

On June 23, 2021, a symposium on the technical promotion and application of prefabricated steel structure residential projects, hosted by the Jiaxing Survey and Design Industry Association and co-organized by Zhejiang Hongxiang Steel Structure Co., Ltd., was successfully held in Hangzhou!

Relevant leaders and designers from 20 design institutes and drawing review companies, including Zhejiang Steel Structure Industry Association, Zhejiang Academy of Architectural Science Co., Ltd., Hangzhou Timoshenko Architectural Structure Design Office, Hongzheng Engineering Design Group Co., Ltd., and Zhejiang Hongxiang Architectural Design Co., Ltd., participated in the meeting.

In the morning, we visited the Binjiang·Greentown·Jianghe Mingcui project. Buildings 2# and 3# are prefabricated steel-structured houses located on the west side of the community. They have 23 floors above ground and 2 floors underground. The standard floor height is 3.1m, the roof height is 73m, and the above-ground building area is about 15,948 square meters. The main structure adopts an implicit frame-steel plate shear wall system, and the floor slabs adopt reinforced truss floor decking.

In the afternoon, a symposium on the promotion and application of prefabricated steel structure residential project technology was held. At the meeting, Xu Wenhui, President of Jiaxing Survey and Design Industry Association, Lu Han, Secretary General of Zhejiang Steel Structure Industry Association Industry Alliance and other leaders made important speeches. 

President Xu Wenhui believes that the future development direction of steel structure housing can be reflected in standardized design, information BIM technology application, customized design, EPC general contracting management model and other aspects. 

General Manager Zhao Yuhong explained the Zhejiang Province "Prefabricated Building Evaluation Standards" and shared the application status of domestic prefabricated buildings and the latest research progress in the industry.

Dr. Wang Yanchao introduced the technical characteristics, technical achievements and engineering experience of implicit frame in detail.

  Through this symposium, everyone expressed that through this on-site visit and experience exchange, they have seized new opportunities, participated more in the wave of development of prefabricated buildings, and actively made our contribution to promoting the development of related industries and markets of prefabricated buildings in our city. We are confident that we can push prefabricated buildings to a better and higher level.
